The personal beta licence is £0 for personal, non-commercial use. Install Nyx AI free from the Microsoft Store; this website offers no direct installer of its own.

£0
Free for personal, non-commercial use under EULA v2.9. Requests to read up to three pages are unmetered; four deeper requests are available per reset window, then each is limited to two fetched pages until reset. A search with no page count defaults to six pages, so it uses the deeper allowance. A relevant Wikipedia summary may also be added.
For adults aged 18 or over. Nyx AI costs £0 under this licence; model or cloud-provider charges may still apply.
- The local-first workspace: documents & spreadsheets, code editor, shell, web research, scheduled tasks, and MCP servers you add by hand; the free edition refuses recognized email or Telegram integrations and recognized email-sending tools
- Windows sandbox levels for AI-run code, plus the Action audit and Forensic logs
- Ollama needs no API key in Nyx AI, whether it runs on this PC or another machine; cloud providers use your own account, and a model tagged “:cloud” or “-cloud” reaches Ollama Cloud even without a key here
- Documented network behaviour you can check yourself

- General-purpose delegated sub-agents, running in parallel. The free build refuses them.
- Research mode, watch the agent browse the web live in the app (read-only browsing)
- Everything in Personal, including the same bring-your-own-model options

Enterprise, by arrangement

There is no Enterprise programme yet: no volume-licensing scheme, no support agreement and no invoicing operation exists today. The personal licence grants no commercial use, so commercial use before Pro would be a separate written licence, agreed case by case. Nothing here is an offer, and we may not be able to help yet, but you are welcome to ask.

“Proprietary and closed-source”: what that means
Nyx AI ships as a compiled program; the source code isn't published. The threat model that ships with the app lists the known ways it uses the network and the limits, and you can check what it actually does with your own network monitor. The licence grants personal-use rights only: no redistribution or commercial use except where the EULA or mandatory law permits. See the licence for the full terms.
